Dance To The Radio

Dance To The Radio (DTTR) calls themselves a Brit-disco-garage band. They are relatively new to the scene and adopts the Arctic Monkey’s album title Whatever people say I am, that’s what I’m not as their motto. We heard ya.

Though they may be fresh to the scene, they have managed to score a gig at Rock The World 8 last year. They named a long list as influences to JUICE , including The Klaxons, Explosions In The Sky and Jimmy Eat World. Infatuated with the Brit and electronic dance music scene, DTTR started their craft in November 2007 and launched themselves into the limelight at school proms. The guys will be releasing an EP soon. We could almost hear their song ‘Disco Robot’ and ‘Kami Bukan AM Malaya’ at a Twilight Actiongirl night.

In the meantime, head over to Dance to the Radio’s page at www.myspace.com/radiodansa to cop a listen.
