Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that “the cause of transmission was believed due to social interactions among flood victims at the PPS.”

All positive cases and close contacts have been isolated from other flood victims.

Dr Noor Hisham said that as of 3pm yesterday, 429 cases of Covid-19 have been detected among flood victims, nation wide.

Currently, there are 159 PPS in operation at Kelantan, Pahang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka collectively.
