Grunge was not only the music for angsty teens, but the fashion from the ’90s subculture was so popular that it was appropriated by high fashion designers such as Marc Jacobs in that era, and its tartan shirts and skirts, silk slip dresses, and lingerie worn as dresses continue to be worn by kids today (even though they’ve no idea of the culture’s ideology and music). There are still a lot of girls who look to grunge queen and Hole lead singer Courtney Love for her tattered, thrift store babydoll fashion. Good news for them, the NastyGal x Courtney Love collaboration is an 18-piece clothing line entitled Love, Courtney and it’ll feature much her archival looks that’s updated to fit modern tastes.
Below are some sneak peak of the collection:
The NastyGal x Courtney Love collection ranges from USD48 to USD188 (approx. RM209 to RM800), available from Thursday 14 January ’16 onwards.
