Calling ALL music lovers! The City ROARS! Festival is returning once again this year, jam-packed with a sick lineup of talented local acts.

Since the festival’s inception in 2019, City ROARS! has been recognised as an international platform that brings together independent artists from all over Asia to showcase the best of innovative independent music.

Additionally, the festival also provides musicians a place to collaborate with one another and showcase their new musical ideas.

This annual event is made possible through the collaborative efforts of Kuala Lumpur-based promoters Soundscape Records, Dong Tai Du, and Taiwanese label Emerge Music.

Last year in 2022, City ROARS! made a strong comeback at Zepp Kuala Lumpur featuring an all-local lineup after cancelling their 2021 edition due to the pandemic.

With the live music sector finally gaining some much-needed momentum, the number of festivalgoers has significantly increased which benefits Malaysia’s entire local music industry.

This year, City ROARS! is returning to their full-fledged festival format featuring multiple stages to provide the best performances from the bands you see above.

The festival will take place at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC) on the 29th of April and will also feature a satellite show performed by indie artists from various Asian countries at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.
