Members of the media came together got together to celebrate Chivas Regal 25 Year Old at the glitzy KL Hilton in August. This is definitely a special occasion for all whisky lovers, with it being produced in a limited quantity only. Chivas Regal 25 Year Old traveled from Scotland to Malaysia in the celebration of the original voyage.

Chivas Brothers Darren Hosie, International Brand Ambassador for Asia Pacific and Robin Gray, International Regional Manager for Asia Pacific was in town to give the media an overview of the premium blend. The Chivas Regal 25 Year Old was revealed with bagpipers making their ways to the stage and then an ambassador opening his suitcase to the first bottle of Chivas Regal 25 Year Old.

Entertainment included various dances that reflected the 1930’s by the Charleston Dance, 9-piece Big Band serving up some good swing jazz and modern acid jazz with Jazmine Amon and Gerald Singh on vocals. Familiar songs such as ‘Sing, Sing, Sing’, ‘Quando, Quando’ and ‘What A Wonderful World’ were performed. This ain’t no Lapsap, FYI.

A specially signed bottle of Chivas Regal 25 Year Old by Chivas Brother Master Blender and creator of the 25 Year Old, Mr. Colin Scott was auctioned off to Datuk Cheah at a generous RM13,888. It was later auctioned off again with Ms Beatrice Nirmals getting the highest bid of RM5,000 with proceeds going to the Rumah KIDS.
