Moor luxury lounging….
Perhaps there’s something about modern Moorish design concepts that means money, as Mandarin Oriental extends the success of Sultan Lounge to Casbah. Designed by SWOT Design Group and opened in December 2010, this opulent Arabian-style lounge replaces Pacifica at Mandarin Oriental. It dishes out inventive mezze, lipsmackingly wicked cocktails and exotic Arabian rhythms that will make your belly dance in more ways than one from within a dramatic setting befitting its futuristic Orient theme.

Clientele Movers, shakers, culinary explorers and hotel guests.

Music policy Chilled out exotic Arabian rhythms. Start here then move to the adjacent Sultan Lounge.

Drinks Befitting its Moorish trappings, Casbah whips up exotic cocktails like the Casbah Colada and the Moroccan Green Tea Mint Derby, but nothing is quite as heady and intoxicating as the Opiate, a whirl of Bombay Sapphire gin, Midori lemon and absinthe served in a brown sugar-coated glass.

Eats As beautiful to look at as it is complex in flavour, Casbah’s menu of impeccably mezze and mains from the Eastern Mediterranean, North Africa and Spain is specially designed to be eaten shared, so come with company.

Dress code Chic (or should that be spelt “sheikh”).

Door policy None.

Open Mon-Sun: 5pm-1am.

Parking Mon-Sun: 1st hour RM6, subsequent hour RM4; after 7pm RM8/entry.
