Brookes Brothers are effin’ sick! The London raised brothers are a gift to drum ‘n’ bass, adding soul to beats flawlessly. Signed exclusively to Fresh and Adam F’s Breakbeat Kaos imprint in 2007, the brothers have developed an uncanny knack for fashioning sure fire hits such as ‘Hard Knocks/Mistakes’ and ‘Rework’, which was one of the biggest drum ‘n’ bass tracks of last year. Their debut album is scheduled for release on Breakbeat Kaos in early 2009. Meanwhile ‘Tear You Down’ ought to provide the heads with the e (for energy) they need; its full of bright synths, soft piano, euphoric vocals, feel good sunshine and big f-off strings. Tight.
