Blow Up! @ Zero Revolution, Ipoh

Thirsty for JUICE content? Quench your cravings on our Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp

JUICE has been to the 4 corners of the universe, er Klang Valley, in search of a good party. In fact, it’s a responsibility that we carry on our shoulders because we love you JUICE readers. So when we got an invitation to check out a party all the way up North in Ipoh, we couldn’t resist the offer. Besides, we wanted to put some questions in our minds to rest. In a Carrie moment I couldn’t help but wonder: are Ipoh girls really the prettiest in Malaysia? And how is the party scene in Ipoh Mali?  JUICE investigates.

One thing we know for sure, is that Ipoh loves its LED lights, judging from the clubs we passed on the way to our destination at Zero Revolution Club which, also had LED lights in the club – but with a twist. They also had laser pointers from floor to ceiling and we were told by Angel, the club’s super nice PR Manager that if you were a guy, you could use your watch glass to direct the laser to the face of the girl you fancied across the room. My partner-in-crime for the night – my senior marketing exec tried it, with disastrous results. We shall save that story for another day.

Zero Revolution was packed out right as soon as we got there to set up JUICE buntings and mags. Ipoh folks were looking forward to checking out Eclectic Botz’s (now in version 2.0) new residency. Before The Botz hit the decks, Zero’s resident, DJ Vechaai got the crowd warmed up with some good ol’ rnb, hiphop and even played some dubstep! Sneaky bastards, they did their homework! They had me at wobble wobble.

Midnight struck, The Botz 2.0 took over and everyone went mental over some electro. There was Duck Sauce’s ‘Barbra Streisand’ in the mix somewhere. Ipoh folks really know how to have a good time and don’t mess with them, these good folks can drink anyone under the table. And if you read the entire article just for an answer then yes, Ipoh girls are mighty fine.

Blow Up @ Zero Revolution Club happens every 1st and 3rd Saturday pf the month. Follow their  updates on FB.  Special thanks to Eclectic Botz and the people of Zero Revolution Club! Fore more pix, check out Gallery!
