Black Circuit Lounge @ Swedish Marque

As the global partner of F1 team Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, world’s #1 Scotch whiskey Johnnie Walker hosted a star-studded event in August. JUICE joined a 789-strong crowd to indulge in a world class Black Circuit Lounge experience, with the Swedish Marque showroom on Jalan Sungai Besi transformed into a luxurious club lounge in the spirit of a Monaco race after-party.

48 participants including local celebrities, journalists and Johnnie Walker enthusiasts teamed up for the Johnnie Walker Pit Crew Experience, launched just a day before the stylish and sophisticated after-party. Formed into groups of 6, each competed with 7 other teams to experience the high-pressure world of motor racing 1st hand at the home of the Malaysian Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Sepang International Circuit. Following the Johnnie Walker Pit Crew Experience, all participants were invited to the ultra-exclusive Black Circuit Lounge, joining A-list celebrities such as TV host Henry Golding, singer Reshmonu and a whole lot more.

A favoured playlist with Johnnie Walker, the Black Circuit Lounge dished out an awesome dose of hip hop and rnb courtesy of 3 wicked DJs. Kick-starting the dancefloor with an electrifying set was our very own urban electro style guru, DJ Goldfish. Rocking the crowd next was Andrew T from Singapore’s Butter Factory before gorgeous Australian DJ Havana Brown hit the decks as the Black Circuit Lounge headliner.

Besides the complimentary valet service and gold-coated invitation bangles that came together with specially engraved Limited Edition Johnnie Walker Black Label Centurion bottles upon arrival, elegantly dressed butlers spoilt everyone with an unlimited flow of Johnnie Walker cocktails, chocolates and canapés. With its stimulating party tunes, VIP excesses and megastar power, the Black Circuit Lounge was an ultimate amalgamation of race cars, rebellion, and the rich and famous.
