Molek FMBEP Celebrates Arthur’s Day
What in the world is Arthur’s Day? It’s the 250th anniversary of the signing of a lease on the St James’ Gate in Dublin, Ireland. And that my dear friends is also secret code for something, just that Puspal’s cloak and dagger guidelines won’t let us tell you what. So google it. The crux is, this occassion is so momentus, a global celebration is taking place with artists like Estelle, Kasabian, Tom Jones, Razorlight and more putting on their party hats. 5 cities are locked in – Dublin, New York, Yaoundé, Lagos – and believe it or not – KL. Yes, KL. Which makes us pretty special. The only Asian country hosting the celebration, for our run, the Black Eyed Peas are enroute to entertain.
And given our recent TMZ claim to fame (don’t shoot the messenger – we’re just reporting what’s already out there), it does make you wonder why KL instead of the endless possibilities. Still, we’ll take it! The quartet consisting of Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie recently released their latest album The END containing #1 hit ‘Boom Boom Pow’, so these guys are top of their game. On top of that, the Malaysia Arthur’s Day shebang will also feature MC Hotdog from Taiwan, Reshmonu, Danny One and Man Hand.
Here’s what Will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas had to say about participating in the event, “It’s really a great privilege for us to pay tribute to the remarkable legacy of Arthur, and I’m certainly looking forward to celebrating Arthur’s Day in Malaysia this year.” Okay….
