Six years later, Soundscape Records is welcoming back experimental instrumental rock band Battles since their maiden KL show. Battles’ sound is full of kinetic energy, and they haven’t lost that with the release of their third album La Di Da Di. Much of their work explore repetition and sounds that could appear disjointed, but in their hands, it’s seamless. It’s difficult to give you a generalised explanation of the band’s sound without going off into a tangent full of adjectives that still won’t do their brand of art rock justice. So, it is best you watch them live yourself!
