In the current wave of “one-man music machines” emerges Baths, a force of musical innovation and smart lyrical ideas all packed into one very special individual known as Will Wiesenfeld.

A champion of music nerds-like counterparts Toto Y Moi and Nosaj Thing-this beat machine (who only a year ago was working out of his bedroom) has fused hip hop with drum loops, delays, reverbs, and some pretty elegant vocals and synth work to produce a couple of effective sonic results worthy enough to release as Cerulean, his debut album effort. And with that, good ol’ Will reaffirms the direction of pop these days-dreamy, laidback and very promising.
