Barlai is looking to host a bi-monthly open mic night during the second and fourth week of each month. To kickstart the first edition are The Endleaves, Kim Lim, The F.O.I, Yinthong Tan, Sia Nicholas, Armand Tanzarian, Sia Nicholas, Armand Tanzarian, Reening Lau, Tan Siong Tiong, and Lucy Catherine Piano — if she doesn’t play the piano, we’re going to be very disappointed. Application is super simple — interested singers can either write on the event page’s wall or email [email protected] to secure a spot. While bands are just as encouraged as solo singer-songwriters to join, keep in mind that the setup only compromises of a one input for a mic and guitar respectively, so you’ll have to bring your own shit if you’re planning to outdo Radiohead.
