As we start nearing the tail-end of 2017, many of us will be pondering on the future and what sort of plans we have in store for ourselves in the coming year. Whether you’ve just finished a pre-university programme or are looking to jump into a postgraduate course to polish your skill sets, International University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW) is here to provide a high-ranking education with minimal fuss; finding an institution that provides well-rounded services is no easy feat, but IUMW makes it easy for both local and international students to obtain a world-class education by offering a Dual Award programme, credit-transfer mobility, scholarships, and study abroad opportunities.
Pay a visit to IUMW’s beautiful city campus during their upcoming Open Days this 8 – 10 September, 10:00AM to 5:00PM to gather more information about the university’s programmes and degrees. Here are some of the benefits of choosing to study with IUMW:
IUMW is one of the first Malaysian universities to offer a Dual Award with direct credit transfer to a U.K. university. This option allows students to study for up to 3 years at the University of Wales. Upon completion of their study, the student shall receive two awards; one from IUMW and the other from the University of Wales.
IUMW is removing the headaches that accompany studying overseas with their Credit-Transfer Mobility Programme. This means IUMW students can transfer their credits and study for one semester at the University of Malaya and the University of Wales with no additional tuition fee to weigh them down. To top it all off, they will also be granted access to University of Malaya’s facilities and library services as well as University of Wales digital resources.
Transform your career and achieve the highest level of personal growth with IUMW’s postgraduate programmes. From 2:00PM to 5:00PM on 9 September 2017, IUMW will be hosting in-depth talks and chances for you to consult with accomplished academics on the next step towards learning more and earning more.
IUMW is on-hand to help you fund and finance your studies, and scholarships are available to help waive the costs of your tuition fees.
Thanks to the Credit-Transfer Mobility Programme, IUMW students have the option to transfer their credits and study for up to 3 years at the University of Wales. Now you can complete your education and see the world at the same time!
Alongside all the beneficial facilities at hand, opportunities to mix around with your fellow students are aplenty. Get to know the multi-ethnic community of both local and international students at IUMW to add to your holistic learning experience.
IUMW’s campus is only ten minutes away from the city centre, with Sunway Putra Mall and Kampung Baru being close by. The campus also has convenient transport links making the commute between uni and home a breeze, with KTM Putra Station and Star LRT PWTC Station being a mere ten-minute walk away.
