ASICS and Amsterdam-based streetwear store Patta have a history of partnering up; initially, on their first edition of the GEL-LYTE III in 2007, which was then followed by a few more collaborations, with this vibrant series being their latest in five years. These GEL-Respectors derive their colour palette from Japanese anime and vividly coloured mythological creatures. The upper is made of overlays in methyl blue premium suede with bright orange stripes and marine green accents that contrast against the grey perforated nubuck base.
