Indie synth pop quartet from Manila, Paranoid City, will be arriving on our shores next Thursday (23 June ’16) for Laundry’s Asian Connection music event. The band will be supported by the experimental band Skits, indie band Couple, and KissKillMary.

Paranoid City was formed in mid-2009 and derived their band name from Phoebe Buffet of Friends who went, “All right, all right, so up until ’92 to ’93, he was very trusting, then ’94 hit, Carol left him and bam! Paranoid City!” The band has since released their album Viewfinder Dreams two years later and has performed at various regional music festivals, most notably at the third edition of Bazooka Rocks with the likes of The Used and Echosmith.
