Axwell and Axtone have unleashed their not-so-secret weapon in the form of ‘Trio’ from Russian starlets Arty, Matisse and Sadko. Axtone just released Hard Rock Sofas earth-shattering ‘Quasar’, and ‘Trio’ is no less epic. Arty (born Artem Stolyarov) released his first production at the age of 19 in 2009, an EP entitled Vanilla Sky. After he got the ball rolling, there was no stopping him.

The last 12 months for Arty have seen him rise to the forefront of the electronic scene, straddling the big room and trance worlds. He’s also No. 25 in DJ Mag Top 100 last year, stepping over 50 spots to get there. Not forgetting Matisse & Sadko, brothers who broke international borders with their SHM-inspired Hi Scandinavia that was scooped up and served out by Armins Armada records.

Their most recent and biggest single to date was ‘The Legend’ with their fellow countrymen Swanky Tunes. The duo have also firmly established themselves in Russia with their radio show on Radio Record with hundreds of thousands of listeners tuning in from across the country.

So put three maestros together, and what do they come out with? A dance track of epic proportions, obviously! ‘Trio’ is completely worthy of everyone’s attention. It even appeals to those of us who aren’t that into the trance scene, which is no easy feat. The track already makes you feel like dancing when you’re listening to it with just your earphones – imagine what it could do to a crowd in an open space, played loudly and accompanied by lights and disco balls.. It’s bound to be legendary!
