Now, anyone can be an angkasawan. Or a submarine captain or a multi-platinum recording artist. And it’s all thanks to one man.

250 years ago, Arthur Guinness signed the 9,000 year lease on the St. James’s Gate brewery in Dublin thus giving birth to the Guinness that we all know today. To celebrate the beloved black beer’s 250th anniversary, a global consumer contest called Guinness Experiences was launched recently at the Aquaria in KLCC.

The global contest will allow one lucky winner to choose from 3 extraordinary experiences. Just by answering a simple question, you could either be on a trip into space aboard Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic Spaceship; or on a journey to the depths of the sea in the world’s first Guinness deep sea bar; or cutting a brand new pimpin’ hot single with The Black Eyed Peas.

Sounds too good to be true? Just head over to www.guinness.com.my and check it out for yourself. And while you’re there, browse through some of the neat facts about the 250 years of Guinness history.

Arthur, you da man!
