And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead: Tao Of The Dead (Century)

TOD have always had a problem finding their fanbase – too epic for hardcore punks, too loud for indie folks, and too artsy for emo kids. On their 7th outing, the band from Austin, Texas returns to their hard hitting roots, cutting down its lineup from 6 to 4 members and recording the whole album in 10 days.

While 2009’s The Century of Self might have alienated listeners by grandiose ambitions, Tao Of The Dead is sure to set the record straight and restore order to the band who are known for their poetic apocalyptic songs that kick post-rockers and shoegazers square in the nads.
