Steve Mason has announced the release of the first material taken from his forthcoming album, Boys Outside, which will be released through Richard X’s label Black Melody in March 2010. The single ‘All Come Down’ is already getting played by the likes of Huw Stephens, Mary Anne Hobbs, Rob Da Bank and Vic Galloway.

Following the implosion of the Beta Band a few years back, Steve Mason recorded both King Biscuit Time and Black Affair (both largely electronic based projects). Steve went back to basics 18 months ago. He picked up the guitar and started on tracks which reflected his amazing song-writing talents. Richard X has been enlisted to work on production, with the resulting record laden with beautiful melodies and simple songs that do justice to Steve’s abilities.

Live shows are planned for 2010 after the album release. For further info, hop on to www.stevemasontheartist.com. ‘All Come Down’ MP3 track is available for download at www.sendspace.com/file/rt2vg3.
