Adidas SLVR Label To Drop In Bangkok

Get on the net and book your flight tix! Adidas’ premium SLVR label drops this 7 April in SEA, but you’ve got to get to Bangkok to get it. SLVR is adidas Sport Style Division’s newest label, the same division behind Y-3, the sport-inspired luxury label as well as Adidas Originals, the brand’s original lifestyle brand that celebrates originality.

The Adidas SLVR Label will launch globally with a major retail roll-out starting from February 2009, but will be sold exclusively through the Adidas SLVR store in Siam Centre beginning this April 7.

The Adidas SLVR Label is striking for its minimalist character and unique approach in craftsmanship. Fresh and progressive, the collection consists of strong basic pieces and soon-to-be-classic staples in simple black and white with accents provided in maroon, orange and shades of blue, and SLVR signature colour, gun metal grey.

Key products that reflect both the SLVR ideals of reducing complexity and enhancing creative solutions are the ‘7 Piece Shoe’ and the ‘Zero Waste Tee’. The ‘7 Piece Shoe’ consists of a 6 piece upper stitched to a 1 piece outsole; whereas most sneakers are made of at least 25 individual pieces that are glued together. The ‘Zero Waste Tee’ is made out of one piece of fabric that was cut once and uses a single stitch around the body to create its unique shape.

For the Spring/Summer 2009 season, Adidas SLVR materials include sustainable organic cotton, soybean fabric, water resistant nylon and coated natural canvas in comfortable and light weight executions. Something we at JUICE particularly like.

The launch collection includes men’s and women’s apparel, footwear and accessories and will hit retail with 3 roll-outs, starting in February 2009, and in SEA in April. The price points range from €80-€130 for footwear, €35-€100 for tops such as polo shirts and sweatshirts, €80-€150 for jackets, and from €40-€90 for accessories.
