The more affordable range from BAPE called AAPE by A Bathing Ape is setting their sights on Reebok’s basketball division by partnering up for a collaborative version of the Pump Omni Lite. One of the many identifying marks of AAPE — and BAPE for that matter — is the extensive use of camo in their line, and it is still prevalent, but it is dyed grey as to allow the bold and loud stitched letters of ‘AAPE’ at the heel to stand proud. The sneaker is lined with a subtle purple camo print and a glow-in-the-dark coloured laces illustrating the partnership between the two brands are highlighted no matter the lighting.
