Ever wondered how a collaboration between songstress Liyana Fizi and Melina William, frontwoman of rock band Tempered Mental, would sound like? Here’s the product of that joint venture. Produced and composed by Melina, the proposition of wanting Liyana’s swiping vocals for the track was informal and instantaneous (via a brief trade of Melina’s iPod earphones). The song’s composition as described by Liyana is “honest, hypnotic, and heart-wrenching,” but coupled with her own delicate voice. It makes for a stirring love song.
