If you haven’t heard of Hudson Mohawke, then let us refresh your memory by telling you that he’s that dude who once worked with Lunice, making up one half of TNGHT, an electronic duo famous for turned up trap jams like ‘Higher Ground’ and ‘Bugg’n’. The former TNGHT member is now back with solo effort Chimes, a four-track EP set to be released on 30 September ’14 via Warp Records. The Scottish producer is letting us have a taste of what’s to come by dropping the title track months before the EP’s release. With wicked warping synths hovering heavily over sinister beats, and grunts thrusted in between, it’s chills for days with this raw and roaring trap tune. Now signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, we’re pretty psyched to hear what else Hud Mo has in store for us.
