Markus Gneist and His Surfboards

Thirsty for JUICE content? Quench your cravings on our Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp

Just so you know, we recently had lunch with the founder of Journey Boards in Bali– Markus Gneist. The passionate German surfer started his own surfboard designing company in 2010 after he fell in love with the beaches, together with the softness and consistency of the waves in Bali.

Markus Gneist is in KL to promote Journey Board’s surfboards at the launching of the all new Quicksilver and Roxy store at Mid Valley tomorrow (26 May). Markus said that his mission is advice Malaysian surfers to not let their minds get seduced by big brands of surfboards companies. He explained that these big brands doesn’t understand the true meaning of surfing.

If you want to learn more of surfing from Markus (and believe us, this man is a great educator in surfing) then you should head out to the Quicksilver and Roxy new store launch tomorrow,  there is also a special opening promotion of buy 2 free 2 from 11am to 10pm.

You can find out more about Journey Boards on their Facebook page. Click here.
