What do you get when you mix 50’s doo-wop, 90’s alt guitar riffs and noughties indie vocals? That would be Mister Heavenly, the supergroup comprised of Modest Mouse’s Joe Plummer, Man Man’s Honus Honus, Island’s Nick Diamonds and Micheal Cera.
Signed to Sub Pop in ’10 (the label famous for hosting Nirvana) and recently completing a tour opening for Passion Pit, Mister Heavenly are gearing up to release their first album this year. Check out the goodness of “doom-wop” below with the bands self titled song.
