Ahead of his inaugural set at MOS – Euphoria, JUICE hits up Dutch deckmaster Dash Berlin for a quickie on his sprinting rise to trance fame. New DJs, take note of question #4!
We’re approaching the end of 2010. What’s the most memorable thing about the year for you?
That would have to be my entry in the DJ Mag Top 100 at number 15.
How would you describe your style of music?
I would simply describe my music as emotional and uplifting.
Armin Van Buuren gave your track ‘Till The Sky Falls Down’ a boast in 2007. Who would you like to feature your track in the future?
I’ve got some amazing people collaborating with me on my new album, so watch out for that. I am also really happy to be working with Emma Hewitt again on my new track, which is called ‘Disarm Yourself’. You can already hear a preview of that on my YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/dashberlin.
After making it big, what’s the most important thing that a DJ needs to remember?
His mother’s birthday!
