For peeps not down with the patwa, What’s Good? is another way of saying What’s Up? The retail arm of BadBoyBen’s distribution company, Dope Distribution. What’s Up? stocks labels such as Knowledge from Hong Kong, Crooks & Castles, Hells Bellz!, Methamphibian, Fibercops, Blingo, Irons, Haze and other fine threads from LA and New York. And if you’re worried about the goods being the genuine article, What’s Up? is living by the credo keeping it real.

One strategy is through the creation of What’s Up? exclusives. The store’s in-house label tees, jeans, caps and hat start at RM149, with shoes coming from Hong Kong’s Creative Recreation and a limited edition footwear project in the works. And these aren’t no substandard merch either. When it went on sale in Singapore, their What’s Good? cap sold out with folks queuing up for the privilege like they were giving away free JCo Donuts. Labels on each product explain product info so you don’t have to look like a toy if you’re new to the game. Watch out for a collabo with BadBoyBen’s Hong Kong buddy, Jin the rapper, which ought to see the MC marks a departure from his the Ruff Ryders days. Now, that’s good!
