If you’re into Lapsap, Foulworks, Eclectic Botz and all that um electro-rock, you are in for a treat. Electro-meister The Bloody Beetroots are coming to town! The good people of Future Sound Asia are responsible for the New Year’s Eve gig and we thank them for giving us at least one dope party to end 2009 with.

The event will take place at the Life Centre on Jalan Sultan Ismail on 31 December (that’s a Thursday night) and ought to see Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo aka The Bloody Beetroots kill it with a DJ set to end all 2009 DJ sets. There’s no doubt 2009 is the year of electro and to end the year with the bastard son of the Misfits and Daft Punk (that’s what it says on The Bloody Beetroot’s MySpace) is definitely one helluva Chrissie pressie for us all.

After a December 6 show in Brisbane Australia, The Bloody Beetroots take a seasonal break before hitting Life Centre on 31 December to rock our brains out. They play Zouk Singapore the following night (Friday 1 Jan 2010) and Bangkok Art and Culture on Saturday January 2 in Bangkok Thailand. Let’s show them how we party!

For those who have no idea what I am on about listen to The Bloody Beetroots’ Romborama album to find out what you’re missing out on.

Keep your eyes peeled. JUICEonline will update you with the info. Familiarise at www.myspace.com/thebloodybeetroots and follow The Bloody Beetroots at www.twitter.com/BloodyBeetroots. Beetroots are good for you.
