Celebrating 30 years of Couple, the latest FK Sneakers release takes inspiration from the Ipoh band’s long-running power pop legacy, translating its upbeat sound and indie spirit into a pair of everyday slip-ons. The result is a sneaker that feels nostalgic without looking stuck in the past.

The colourway is hard to miss. Sky blue and lime green come together in a combination that is equal parts sweet, loud, and slightly unexpected. It’s not designed to blend quietly into an outfit. Priced at RM189, the FK x COUPLE Be My Gurl slip-ons are available in sizes EU 36 to 45, covering UK sizes 3 to 12. Pre-orders are open until 15 August 2026, with the shoes expected to be ready by 25 November 2026.

The release arrives as Fung Keong continues expanding its presence beyond footwear and into the wider worlds of music, fashion, and creative culture. The brand recently brought its latest designs to Art of Speed Malaysia 2026 at MAEPS, Serdang, placing its sneakers among the cars, motorcycles, art, music, and streetwear that make up the event’s wider lifestyle community.

Fung Keong has also introduced the FK Lasak Edition, a tougher, gig-ready design created with movement and durability in mind.

While the Couple collaboration leans into bright colours and indie-pop charm, the Lasak Edition takes a more rugged approach, with added protection around the front of the shoe and stronger grip for those spending long hours on their feet at concerts and live events.
