Acid, Sludge & Sweat Take Over Bikers Cafe With Hanyut This Saturday

This Saturday, 27 December, Sungai Buloh is about to get slow, loud, and beautifully unhinged.

Headlining the night is Hanyut, Sungai Buloh’s own acid-trenched sludge doom unit. Their sound crawls rather than sprints, thick with distortion, dread, and the kind of heaviness that sits in your chest long after the last note rings out. If you like your doom murky, oppressive, and spiritually exhausting in the best way possible, Hanyut are the reason you show up early and stay late.

Backing them is a carefully curated lineup that actually understands the assignment. Roncas and Jon Rompak bring garage rock grit that is raw, punchy, and just messy enough to feel dangerous. The Penthemix slide into the mix with their own warped energy, bridging the gap between groove and chaos. RMK come in swinging with full-throttle punk, frantic, confrontational, and not here to be polite.

Rounding things out are Carcinus, newcomers armed with death-doom heaviness ready to send shivers straight down your spine and remind everyone why fresh blood keeps the scene alive.

The venue is Bikers Cafe, Sungai Buloh, an appropriately gritty setting for a night that promises sweat, noise, and zero restraint. Pre-sale tickets are on now at just RM25, which is frankly a steal for a lineup this dialled in.

Check out their badass poster above for the full details, show up early, and brace yourself. This is not background music. This is the kind of gig you feel in your bones.
