Michael Jackson’s Nephew Jaafar Jackson To Play The King of Pop in Upcoming Biopic ‘Michael’
Michael Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, will be playing the late King of Pop in the upcoming biopic titled, Michael.
Jermaine Jackson, Michael’s brother and a member of The Jackson 5, is the father of the singer-songwriter. Since the age of 12, Jaafar has performed singing and dancing, and he has done so while performing songs by Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, and other artists.
Michael is being produced by Graham King, who produced the critically acclaimed film Bohemian Rhapsody based on Freddie Mercury’s life.

According to Deadline, the biopic will not shy away from the controversy surrounding Jackson’s life, including the paedophilia allegations that dogged him in his later years and his death from cardiac arrest brought on by a combination of sedatives in 2009 at the age of 50.
Michael will be the first major film role for Jaafar.
“Jaafar embodies my son. It’s so wonderful to see him carry on the Jackson legacy of entertainers and performers,” said Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson.
