Kasabian Go Koko At Barsonic
Alrightie Kasabian fanatics! You’ve got your tickets (well, some of you at least) for MTV World Stage and now you’re planning the pre-party. Well, JUICE feels it’s our awesome obligation to inform you that your favourite Brit rockers are going to be at Barsonic this Friday as part of the 2nd installment of KOKO Asia – UK’s finest indie club night export. Weehooo!
Straight off the back of their second #1 album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum the Leicester foursome could not be in more demand as Koko Asia goes balls out to put its mark on the Malaysian indie scene. Quite simply, Barsonic has not seen rock royalty of this stature before and we are urging everyone to come as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Due to their MTV commitments Tom Meighan and co are unable to perform (DJ sets or knife juggling), but having heard of the legendary club night being in Kuala Lumpur the same week as their visit, the boys could not resist the chance to come down and kick it with the Koko faithful.
As usual, indie disco misfits Twilight Actionirl will be in full gear and joining them will be none other than festival-destroyer Simon Subsonic, who will be playing one of his last gigs in Asia before heading back to the UK, and TAG disciple-gone-DIY Hackeem Elektrischer of Mixing in Action fame.
So come on down to Barsonic this Friday night for some cam-whoring action with Kasabian and some indie-electro-whatchamacallit-music…. It’s gonna be empire!
