Soho KL is one of those places that began with good intentions that sadly haven’t lived up to their promise. Joining a limited fray of truly worthwhile establishments comes this spacious double-storey club.

Not to be confused with Envie on Changkat Bukit Bintang, or the magazine of the same name, Envy @ Soho KL is pretty standard fare. A neon entrance opens onto a sprawling lower floor where the young, beautiful and excitable can pull up a barstool, order up a round from the lengthy bar and skull drink as they take in the live band or DJ. Upstairs a lounge area and VIP area is connected to the dancefloor by multiple means among them a transparent platform. A novelty, don’t be surprised to see a small congregation gathering under it for ahem, a better view of the club dancers and unwitting exhibitionists. JUICE’s favourite feature is the 2 Nintendo Wii consoles – watching an animated match of tennis is plenty entertainment, and an “alfresco” area located outside in a glass conservatory provides escape.

Music policy Resident DJs Marcus and guests Dr Klyto and Jakeman hold it down with a catcha all music policy that spans from hip hop and RnB to house music and electro. Monday + Tuesday It’s live band til 11pm after which the ressie drops RnB and hip hop. Wednesday Dr. Klyto goes retro. Thursday which is fast shaping up to be the start of the weekend (move over Friday) sees DJ Marcus host Gmix, the club’s weekly Ladies’ Night soundtracked by plenty booty shaking and bounce making tunage. It’s 2 free drinks upon entry, ladies. Friday Your guess is as good as ours as Jakeman from Hitz.FM goes all open format/mix beat on your ass. Then make way for the Weekend as DJ Marcus lined up a platter of electro and techno to feed EDM souls.

Door policy No cover. Admission is strictly for patrons ages 18 years + only.

Happy hours 6pm-9pm daily.

Dress code No designer labels on show nevertheless most folks do make an effort.

Parking The spacious and brightly lit Solaris basement carpark has plenty of room for parking and is priced at only RM1 per entry.
