Staying true to the brand’s spirit in creative self-expression and action sports, Vans has announced the worldwide expansion of its celebrated music platform, Vans Musicians Wanted.

Originally launched in Vans’s Asia-Pacific region back in 2015, the Vans Musician Wanted competition is a global music platform, seeking out undiscovered musicians to share their talent with the world.

Due to the current climate, this year’s competition has evolved into a seamless digital experience. One grand prize winner will not only get a shot at the spotlight but also get to share a stage with Vans Ambassador and Grammy Award-winning artist Anderson .Paak.

The competition is also partnering with talents from Vans’s final chapter of their ‘THIS IS OFF THE WALL’ brand campaign which shares the two artists’ journey from their bedrooms to the main stage.

Vans’s ‘THIS IS OFF THE WALL’ campaign celebrates emerging artists, their stories as well as their creative expression in the hip-hop world.

Atlanta-based rapper, J.I.D. and Chinese-born and American-raised artist, Bohan Phoenix will serve as special guest judges alongside singer-songwriter Nilufer Yanya and Anderson .Paak. They will review the top-5 artists from each region – U.S., Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The grand prize winner will receive Vans product, Fender gear, Vans Spotify and Apple Music playlisting, music video produced by Universal Group and one year of free and unlimited global music from Spinnup (APAC exclusive).

Last but not least, the winner will get to share a stage with Anderson .Paak as the opening artist for his 2021 tour. That’s a once in a lifetime opportunity!
