VIDEO: Katy Perry Bounces Back with a Hunger Games-Inspired Music Video
The 32-year-old ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ singer did not disappoint with her signature explosive, bright, and colourful music video that accompanies the single. In the video, Katy is seen to be a futuristic enchantress, almost like she was a citizen of Panem as illustrated from The Hunger Games series. It also addresses the issues in Trump America with a whole lot of other symbolisms on being aware and alert of one’s surrounding. The single off Katy’s upcoming fourth studio album (due late this year) premiered via disco balls around the world and had a lyric video featuring a hamster, in which she eluded to in her music video, running in a human-sized hamster wheel.
Skip Marley, grandson of legendary reggae star, Bob Marley, also joins forces with Katy for the crossover disco-dancehall anthem.
