Even without even releasing any songs yet, TOKO KILAT has been one of the most buzzed bands since frontman Edwin Raj (They Will Kill Us All), drummer Irfan Iskandar (Bittersweet), and bassist Wan and lead guitarist Khai of Singapore indie band Moods came together. People already had high hopes and expectations purely based on the austere lineup. The quartet recently made their festival debut at the recent Good Vibes Festival ’16 and the reception was generous. Now, since teasing us about a music video for lead single ‘Pemacu Api’, TOKO KILAT has finally released it. Directed by Shimy Latif, it sees the band performing the song in bronze-hued Filem Negara Studio with shafts of light, giving it some strategic and stylish illumination. Just like the philosophy of the band, the music video is a reflection of their no-frills but highly effective rock music – it is a clear-cut and precise introduction to TOKO KILAT.
