Molek FMVIDEO: Minor Victories’ ‘Folk Arp’ Teaser

Slowdive’s Rachel Goswell, Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite, Editors’ Justin Lockey, and his brother James Lockey of Hand Held Cine Club make up the supergroup of our dreams – Minor Victories. The band has already released their single ‘A Hundred Ropes’ in February, which followed their first short film teaser called Film One mid last year. Today, the second teaser video features ‘Folk Alp’, where three boys skate around in outerwear that states ‘Antihero,’ ‘Doom Sayers,’ and Minor Victories’ insignia. The video is quite serene with its symphonic strings that unfurls radically into a big, incendiary end.

Minor Victories’ self-titled debut album will be released on Friday 3 June ’16 via PIAS.
