Shamir will be supporting Duran Duran on tour, and very appropriately, the singer has released his own cover of the British new wave band’s best known hit, ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’. Shamir, who’s capable of both big dance pop songs and introverted acoustic numbers, performed the cover in a manner of the latter. He takes it away from the original’s synth production to an emotive, folk-y song.
