adidas StellaSport has collaborated with photographer and artist Petra Collins for the final instalment of their adidas StellaSport Tumblr collaboration. If you follow Rookie, you’d recognise Petra — there’s always a trace of female empowerment in her work. Here in a video titled Break A Sweat, Petra documents the experiences of four female athletes coming from, as you know, a traditionally male-orientated and dominated arena. It touches upon the violence that was inflicted on a girl who just wanted to be treated the same as her teammates, the uncouth perception of a woman sweating, appropriated sportswear attire, and more.
