LISTEN: +2dB’s ‘Comet’
Lest you had forgotten about the buzz surrounding +2dB (from their career-making Daft Punk cover, to being featured in Topman’s in-house magazine, to the even better cover of Télépopmusik’s ‘Breathe’), the duo has recently released new single ‘Comet’ to remind us why they’re worthy of attention. While decidedly poppier than what had come before in terms of production, Jeannie’s voice is no less haunting — lines like “We travel lands on speeding comets” and “Leap and I will follow” are sung with the intonation of a siren call, suggesting less of a wanderlust spirit and more the allure of danger. But then again, those two come hand-in-hand.

JUICE will be hosting an epic remix project of +2dB’s ‘Comet’ some time in October, be on the lookout. In the mean time, more from them here.
