VIDEO: A Young Summer’s Heart by Romano Pizzichini & Maria Falbo
Here’s a nice little film to unwind to — you don’t even have to watch the video, just play it and listen to it in the background while you make dinner or something. Anyway, the short scenic film doesn’t have any action, drama or any of that sort of reactionary element to it, instead it simply revolves around a guy who wanted “some distance” and he found that in a quiet, sleepy town of Calabria, Italy. He doesn’t do much, other than skateboarding, eating great pizza from Antonio’s, and hanging out with Antonio’s Italian speaking daughter. It’s a serene escape till he realises he can’t continue to stay any longer.
