It’s even more exciting when you hear about a new series to watch that stars your favourite actor or actress!

As K-Dramas released this year such as All of Us Are Dead, Business Proposal, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, and many more have exceeded our expectations, many wonder what’s to come…

With that, check out these five upcoming highly-anticipated Korean dramas that will be available to stream on Netflix and WATCHA this 2022 and 2023!

This new show is based on a true story that is centred around Chang-Wook (Han Suk-Kyu), who begins keeping a culinary journal while preparing meals for his terminally ill wife, Da-Jung (Kim Seo-Hyung).

Even though he only knows how to cook ramen, Chang-Wook starts lovingly learning to cook for Da-Jung, with his heart and soul put into every dish.

Recipe for Farewell will be released on December 2022 on WATCHA.

Moon Dong-Eun (Song Hye-Kyo) dreamed of becoming an architect one day. However, she was forced to drop out of high school as she became a victim of bullying.

Years later, the offender marries, and their child enrols in the same primary school where Moon now teaches homeroom. She then seeks revenge on both the tormentors and bystanders who stood silent while she was being bullied.

The Glory will be available on Netflix starting December 2022.

This thriller series is set in 1945 in Gyeongseong (the old name for Seoul) where Jang Tae-Sang (Park Seo-Joon) and Yoon Chae-Ok (Han So-Hee) come together despite their very different backgrounds to fight a strange creature born of greed for survival.

Fans can watch the highly anticipated series starring Park Seo-Joon, Han So-Hee, and Wi Ha-Joon on Netflix in 2023.

Chicken Nugget

Chicken Nugget is a comedy series where Choi Min-Ah (Kim Yoo-Jung) is accidentally turned into fried chicken.

Her father, Choi Sun-Man (Ryu Seung-Ryong), and his intern Go Baek-Jung (Ahn Jae-Hong) work together to try and transform her back into a human but stumble upon some intriguingly dark secrets along the way.

The fun webtoon-based drama is coming to Netflix in 2023.

Murder DIEary

This upcoming thriller-comedy is about Lee Tang (Choi Woo-Shik), an ordinary college student part-timing at a convenience store, who accidentally murders a customer he got into an argument with.

Soon, Lee Tang learns that the customer was a serial killer and realises that he has a supernatural ability to identify evil people. Unbeknownst to detective Jang Nan-Gam (Son Seok-Koo), he is actually hunting down a vigilante with powers that could alter the fabric of humanity.

Netflix subscribers will be able to the webtoon-based drama in 2023.

Personally, I’m most excited to watch Gyeongseong Creature because of Park Seo-Joon and Han So-Hee. Let’s admit that Han So-Hee absolutely killed her role in the action-filled K-Drama, My Name, that was released back in 2021.
