Let’s admit it, we’re starved for entertainment, which is why we should have more than one choice of an ultimate concert experience this year – no offence to Coldplay stans.

Langkawi Green Music Festival

What’s better than a hip hop and dance music festival? Well, a hip hop and dance music fest on the sunny island of Langkawi, of course!

Featuring heavy hitters Joe Flizzow, Sona One, K – Klique, Alyph, Ariel Nayaka, ChronicleZ and a legion of hot acts who will keep the vibes coming, Langkawi Green Music Festival is not just about showing love to the local hip hop and dance scenes, it’s also about embracing Mother Earth.

Happening at the Langkawi Marine Park, LGMF promises to be different in that attendees will be encouraged to adopt a greener lifestyle during the 2-day event – for example, by using reusable cups for beverages to reduce wastage. These initiatives are just for fun either, they are to fulfil the festival’s pledge of having a vastly smaller carbon footprint as compared to other mainstream festivals.

There’s also a burgeoning local coffee scene in Langkawi, so look out for the island’s famous artisanal brewers at the F&B areas.

So mark your calendar for 11 and 12 November 2023 and get your shades and beach bod ready!
