WATCH: Porsche Helps 22y/o M’sian Man with Cerebral Palsy Achieve His Lifelong Dream
Meet Krithin Paul Pereira, a 22-year-old from Kuala Lumpur with cerebral palsy who was able to achieve one of his lifelong dreams with the help of renowned German sportscar manufacturer, Porsche.
According to his parents, Ashita and Jackson Pereira, the first three months of Krithin’s life were spent fighting his condition to live.
Despite all odds, Krithin remained unbothered and believes that everybody has their own hurdles to overcome.
According to World of Buzz, Porsche flew out Krithin and his parents almost 10,000 km from their home in Kuala Lumpur to Germany and gave them a special tour of their design studio.
Krithin got the opportunity to meet designers and see various Porsche models, which had fascinated him and served as motivation to him for many years.
His father pushed him in his wheelchair through the design studio’s display area, where he saw a life-size model of a 911 GT3 in the center.
As soon as he saw it, Krithin laughed gleefully as his father placed his hand on his shoulder who knew how much and what this day meant for his son.
One of Krithin’s greatest skills is his creativity. He spent a few minutes sketching a sports car on his lap, which was then presented to Porsche’s design professionals and left them pretty impressed.
Stéphane Lenglin, one of Porsche’s designers, was blown away by Krithin’s skills, saying “His creativity is so unique. He gets the proportions specific to the models just right. It’s extraordinary. As a designer, I’m really impressed by his skills.”
Porsche didn’t just give Krithin a tour of their design studio, they also arranged for his first-ever ride in a Porsche 911 GT3 Touring on the historic Hockenheimring racetrack.
Strapped in the seat of a new 911 GT3 RS, Krithin was beyond ecstatic to be driven in one of Porsche’s most powerful models.
Krithin’s story should serve as a reminder that no dream is too big or impossible to achieve. All it takes is determination, perseverance, and a positive mindset.
