It may not be the most prestigious award to win, but The MTV Movie Awards has always been an event that’s entertaining to watch. From that time in 1999 when Jim Carrey shocked everyone with his bushy-haired, long bearded hippie get up, to Sacha Baron Cohen dropping in on Eminem butt-to-face a couple of years back, it seems to be an event where you get to see these crazy celebrities let loose. And anticipation has been building to see what’s in store this year, as The 2012 MTV Movie Awards draws nearer.

Unlike other movie awards, MTV likes to keep it democratic with the winners chosen based on public voting. Nominees haven’t been announced yet but considering the outcome of the previous three years, it’s painfully easy to guess which sparkly vampire movie will be taking the golden popcorn for the Best Movie Award.
