The Scandi-chic fashion brand Monki welcomed their Malaysian fans with open arms into their store with the third and latest award-winning design concept for the ever growing Monki World, titled Sea of Scallops, an underwater realm strewn with the wreckage of life topside. Amongst the sunken carousels and the tangled rigging of long-foundered ships roam the denizens of an unstable society consisting of enormous jellyfish, undulating plants, and multi-coloured water lilies.

On this celebratory night, media and celebrity friends were invited to dive deep into this newest installation of the Monki World, filled with yummy-licious Monki treats, fun manicure and hair colouring sessions, and nonstop music entertainment by Jane Chuck and Twinkies. Roaming within this oceanic occurrence were local celebrities and personalities donned in their Monki’s best – Asia’s Next Top Model Sheena Liam, fashion blogger Joyce Wong, dynamic duos like +2db, Twinkies (Arabyrd and Tunku Nadia), and the Ramlan sisters Didi and Nini, as well as others like Hanie Hidayah, Tuti Noor, and Hunny Madu.

The Monki inaugural store launch in Malaysia went down on Tuesday 29 April ’14.
