VIDEO: Orang’s ‘Selfie’ off Everyone EP

A month ago, new digital label BOTANIC Records commenced their operations by releasing ‘R U Down With It’ – a single taken from the imminent arrival of alt pop musician Orang’s debut EP titled Everyone. A second song, ‘Selfie’, receives a lyric music video of sorts, featuring the oft-hidden visage of Orang as Photo Booth clips of himself are plastered on screen in appropriate thematic fashion. In comparison to the lead single, ‘Selfie’ is languid but still viscous with sentiments of longing and reinvention of the self. As the song flourishes towards the end of the video, there is an inception of footage of Orang watching himself as he slips down his chair – out of view.
