LISTEN: After Almost a Year, Sugar Shrill is Back With a Remix of Galantis’ ‘Runaway’

The last we heard of trio Sugar Shrill was some 11 months ago, when they participated in Darren Ashley’s Monday Juice series with ‘Blue Ice’ – an electropop ditty very much in tune with Darren’s and their respective aesthetics. Now, after a long silence, they’ve returned with a hip update of Galantis’ 2015 EDM hit ‘Runaway’. Morphing the track into future bass with light tropical flourishes, they’ve still very much made a track meant for a festival setting; albeit one that’s less fist-pumping and more chilled (or with an “enthusiastic chilling vibe,” to quote the trio’s bio).
