After lying low since becoming the first runner up for The Wknd Sessions Recording Fund last year, Kyogg will soon release their EP. We’ve got to say, first single ‘Volemore’ is one ebullient track to pump you up on a Monday morning (at the time this was being written). But of course, this gleaming morsel of indie electronica suits best in a gig setting. ‘Volemore’ is exuberant, highly energetic, and the perfect song for a dance party – fervid guitars melding with cascading glisters of synth lines complemented by Fahmi’s and Kimal’s individual singing styles. With this, the duo’s relative quiet activity will only be momentary.
